State Safety and
Emissions Inspections

We offer State Inspections according to North Carolina mandates. While we want all vehicles to pass, we approach the guidelines set by the state seriously and with integrity.

Here are some common items that will cause a vehicle to fail:

very worn or torn wiper blades
low tire tread (below 2/32nds of an inch) or exposed steel wires
nonfunctioning lights (brake lights, tag lights, high beams/low beams)
tint that is below 35% transparency, with a 3% margin of error allowed
check engine light (for emissions inspections only)
